The Master of Arts in Arts Administration (MA) graduate degree programme is a module- based master\u2019s research degree at 180 credits for those interested in extended research in various area of the arts <\/a>Administration.  It is intended as a distinct award for those either not wishing to undertake or not yet ready for doctoral study but with an interest in sustained and in-depth study. Research should be of a standard above that of the BA but not at that of doctorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of the diversity of research topics possible, the MPhil programme at Victoria College does not involve a core taught component. There are required elements as part of the course but in general students will be working primarily with their individual supervisor following a bespoke pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As an American-validated degree at postgraduate level, this award prepares you to study further and would normally lead to a place on either a higher masters research degree or doctoral study.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Entry requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Students for this qualification must already hold either a Bachelors degree in an appropriate subject or an equivalent diploma of at least 120 credit hours equivalent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Students at should have a knowledge of their field equivalent to graduate level before commencing study alongside the required pre-requisite qualifications. Students would also usually be expected to be practitoners of professional standard in order to demonstrate a practical application of the skills they will develop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How much time do I need?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Most of our students study part time, completing 60 credits a year<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
