Research should be of a standard above that of the BA but not at that of doctorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Because of the diversity of research topics possible, the MPhil programme at Victoria College does not involve a core taught component. There are required elements as part of the course but in general students will be working primarily with their individual supervisor following a bespoke pathway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key features of the course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Study a wide range of skills found working in the arts sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extend your skills in areas including time-management, self-discipline and self-motivation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore the realities of working in the wider arts than your own field\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relevant to a wide range of careers in the arts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>As an American-validated degree at postgraduate level, this award prepares you to study further and would normally lead to a place on either a higher masters research degree or doctoral study.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entry requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Students for this qualification must already hold either a Bachelors degree in an appropriate subject or an equivalent diploma of at least 120 credit hours equivalent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students at should have a knowledge of their field equivalent to graduate level before commencing study alongside the required pre-requisite qualifications.
